Visually Stunning Movies : The Last Unicorn (1982)
There has never been a time without unicorns. We live forever! We are as old as the sky, old as the moon! We can be hunted, trapped; we can even be killed if we leave our forests, but we do not vanish. Am I truly the last?

18 Various Kinds of Opals
When most people think of an opal, they might think of a milky-colored stone containing a rainbow of stripes or flecks inside it. What many people don’t know is that they are incredibly diverse in appearance, and are not actually minerals. Opals are a solid, amorphous form of silica, and are classified as “mineraloids”. Like other mineraloids, such as amber, pearl, and obsidian, they lack structural order, or “crystallinity”.
From the top:
- Black Opals
- Cat’s Eye Opals
- Dendritic Opals
- Flamingo Opals
- Peruvian Pink Opals
- Zebra Opals
- Leopard Opals
- Yowah Nut and Koroit Opals (both have the same characteristics - they merely come from two different areas).
- Brown Opals
- Ethiopian Honeycomb Opals
- Green Opals (Serbian, Tanzanian, and Brazilian)
- Peruvian Blue Opals
- Matrix Opals
- Landscape Opals (Andean and Australian)
- Mexican Fire Opals
- Crystal Opals
- Australian Boulder Opals
- Ethiopian Ribbon Opals
(Side note - the image backgrounds are transparent, except for the matrix/landscape picture, which seems hellbent on being an asshat, no matter how many times I try to fix it)
Anonymous asked marinovannyeogurchiki: Just wondering. What majors would you give each character that you drew in the Uni!au so far?
okay i lied i actually had a couple of free hours yesterday to sketch these gossipy journalism kids
I haven’t decided on a country where the chaps are studying, and, by extension, the education system; I think the names of the courses I mentioned vary from country to country, but, hopefully, they would get the thought across.
So, England, Liechtenstein and Poland major in Journalism, Belarus — Forensic Science, Denmark — Aerospace Engineering (I swear to god in every single one of my AUs Denmark has something to do with aircraft; I can’t control this), Hungary and Prussia — Pre-Law and possibly Criminal Science. I’m not sure about Norway (first I thought about Linguistics, but now I’m more into Philosophy), and Belgium is just a blank page… Maybe something like Marine or Aquatic Biology.
There are some characters I haven’t drawn yet, but already decided on their course: Sweden’s majors are Political Science and History, Finland’s — Mechanical Engineering (or at least something close to that), Switzerland’s — Logistics, America’s is either Aerospace Engineering, like Denmark’s, or Applied Mathematics.
Don’t mess with our team.
